Before we start
Scope & payment
A clear starting point for your website project, with the details agreed in writing before work begins.
This is an outline of our standard offer, not a complete project contract. Your written proposal and accepted project terms will set out the deliverables, responsibilities, timing and cancellation arrangements for your specific project. Sending an enquiry does not commit you to buying anything.
The standard £1,000 website
- Up to five pages, agreed before the build begins.
- Responsive design for desktop, tablet and mobile screens.
- A configured and tested enquiry form.
- Copy editing from factual information supplied and approved by you.
- Page titles, descriptions and semantic page structure.
- Two consolidated revision rounds within the agreed scope.
- Launch checks and an agreed handover.
The price is £1,000. We are not VAT registered and do not charge VAT. A smaller one-page site is available from £500, with one revision round and a separate agreed scope.
Payment and timing
The standard payment schedule is £500 upfront after accepting the scope, then £500 after approval and before launch. Payment requests are sent using customer-specific invoices. Do not send payment until you have received and accepted the written project details.
The target is seven working days after we have the deposit, complete content and an agreed brief. The start date depends on availability and is confirmed before you commit. Missing content, additional work or delayed feedback can change the schedule; any revised timing is discussed with you.
What you provide
You supply accurate service information, your service area, contact details, brand assets and photographs you have permission to use. You approve the factual accuracy of the finished content and nominate a decision-maker who can provide consolidated feedback. Domain access should be arranged through a suitable delegated-access method.
Revisions and additional work
A revision round means one consolidated set of feedback on the agreed design and content. Additional pages, a changed direction after approval or extra revision rounds are discussed and priced before that additional work starts.
Ecommerce, bespoke booking systems, user accounts, integrations, logo or brand design, extensive copywriting and ongoing SEO are not part of the standard package. Linking to an existing booking service can be considered in the agreed scope. We do not promise rankings, traffic, leads or sales.
Your website, domain and hosting
Your domain should be registered in your own account. After full payment, you receive the source files and agreed rights to the website work, subject to third-party licences. The proposal identifies any licensed assets, services or restrictions.
Hosting should be client-owned or clearly transferable. The proposal sets out the hosting arrangement and responsibility for any charges. Domains, email, paid software and third-party subscriptions are separately allocated; they are not silently included in the build price.
Optional care: £39 per month
The optional care plan covers hosting administration, uptime checks, a monthly enquiry-form check and up to 20 minutes of small text or image edits per month. Unused editing time does not roll over. New pages, redesigns, larger changes, emergency or round-the-clock support, domain renewals and third-party charges are excluded.
Care requires a separate agreement covering its start date, payment, response arrangements, cancellation and what happens to hosting at the end. You do not have to purchase care to commission a website.
Approval, cancellation and handover
You review the site before launch. We agree the final approval process, balance payment, domain changes and handover before publishing your website.
Your project terms will address cancellation, work already completed, any payment or refund due, and the treatment of committed third-party costs. An upfront payment is not described here as automatically non-refundable. Any statutory rights that apply remain unaffected.
